A detective inspector is to reply to drug prices in courtroom on Wednesday after cocaine weighing over 5.8 kilograms was reportedly present in his possession on Thursday, January 8.
He’s 51-year-old Martin Walker of the constabulary’s Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime (CTOC) department.
Reviews are at about 7:10 p.m., personnel from the firearms and narcotics investigation division intercepted Walker at a enterprise institution in Kingston.
Walker’s car was searched and police say a plastic bag containing the cocaine was discovered.
It has an estimated avenue worth of $J3.5 million.
Walker was interviewed within the presence of his legal professional on Saturday, January 10 and was charged with possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine, trafficking cocaine and conspiracy.
He’ll seem earlier than the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Courtroom on January 14.
