Former Prime Minister, Bruce Golding has urged the Caribbean area to batten down amid tensions involving the US and Venezuela.

Since final September there was rigidity between each nations with U.S. strikes on a variety of alleged drug boats ensuing within the deaths of scores of individuals.

In line with experiences among the deceased are Venezuelan residents.

In line with the U.S., the strikes are in opposition to the movement of unlawful medication into the nation.

On January 3, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his spouse have been captured; they’ve been accused of federal drug trafficking and different fees.

In an interview on IRIE FM’s Working Africa programme yesterday, former Prime Minister Golding mentioned Caribbean leaders mustn’t provoke the US.

Mr. Golding believes that regardless of the stress inside the area this too shall move.
