    Man Accused of Setting Fire to Child’s Mother’s Home Faces Arson Charge

    A person from St Catherine has been formally charged after investigators linked him to a fireplace that destroyed a lady’s home within the parish late final month.

    The accused is 42-year-old Ronaldo Campbell, a labourer who resides within the Fortunate Valley district. Police say the incident stemmed from a dispute between Campbell and the complainant, the mom of his youngster.

    Based on stories, the disagreement occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on December 21, 2025. It’s alleged that someday after the confrontation, the girl’s home was intentionally set ablaze and was fully destroyed.

    The matter was reported, prompting an investigation by the Riversdale Police, which led to Campbell’s arrest. Following a question-and-answer session, he was charged with arson on December 31, 2025.

    Police say preparations are actually being made for Campbell to seem earlier than the court docket.
