    McKenzie refutes claims of evicting occupants of Petersfield High shelter

    Preparations are being made for the shelter occupants at Petersfield highschool in Westmoreland  to be relocated to a different part of the varsity.

    This was revealed by native authorities minister Desmond McKenzie who’s refuting claims that occupants  are being evicted from the varsity.

    A number of residents have been staying on the college, because the passage of Hurricane Melissa in October.

    As much as yesterday, they complained that regardless of pledges that different lodging can be offered, nothing has been achieved.

    They stated they had been instructed that they needed to go away the shelter by in the present day, to ensure that the varsity to be ready for the resumption of courses within the new time period in January.

    Member of Parliament for Central Westmoreland Dwayne Vaz known as on the federal government to quick monitor plans to help the affected residents.

    In response to the considerations, McKenzie chastised individuals he claimed had been spreading misinformation and creating mischief in regards to the state of affairs on the shelter.
