Sorrel a favorite drink this time of yr, can be lacking from the festivities for a lot of Jamaicans.

The crop, like many different fruits, greens and floor provision was destroyed throughout Hurricane Melissa in October.

The place out there customers are seemingly paying excessive costs.

Chief Govt Officer of the Rural Agricultural Improvement Authority, RADA, Garnet Edmondson notes that sorrel is restricted this festive season.

He explains that there are some challenges with the manufacturing of sorrel, however that steps are being taken to deal with them.

The RADA CEO says farmers have been supplied with seeds and he anticipates that quickly, sorrel manufacturing can be again to pre-hurricane Melissa ranges.
