    NSWMA receives 10 tipper trucks to boost National Hurricane Melissa Clean-up Programme

    The Ministry of Native Authorities yesterday handed over 10 tipper vans to the Nationwide Stable Waste Administration Authority (NSWMA).

    This in an effort to help with the clear up of particles throughout parishes ravaged by Hurricane Melissa.

    Talking throughout the handing over ceremony, Government Director of the NSWMA, Audley Gordon stated whereas tipper vans should not sometimes in excessive demand throughout day-to-day operations, they’ve turn into important following Hurricane Melissa.

    Mr. Gordon stated the NSWMA has eliminated about 15 thousand a great deal of particles because the passage of the hurricane.

    In the meantime, Prime Minister, Dr. Andrew Holness stated the primary focused intervention will probably be in Black River in St. Elizabeth.
