The official funeral service for the late Reggae singer, Jimmy Cliff might be held right this moment on the Nationwide Indoor Sports activities Centre, in Kingston.
The service is to start at 3:00 P.M.
Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness will ship the nationwide tribute.
Jimmy, whose actual identify is James Chambers died on November 24 on the age of 81.
In accordance with Minister of Tradition and Leisure Olivia Grange stated Jimmy is being accorded an official funeral by the federal government “for his immense contribution to Jamaican tradition and leisure.
The preparations are being finalized by the Workplace of the Prime Minister in session with the tradition ministry and the household of the acclaimed musician, singer and actor.
The service will function solely spoken phrase, dance and music consistent with Jimmy’s needs.
