    5000 workers to benefit from tourism housing assistance recovery programme

    5 thousand employees are to profit from the Tourism Housing Help Restoration Programme, (THARP) which is to be launched as we speak.

    Tourism minister Ed Bartlett made the announcement at an appreciation breakfast on the Norman Manley Worldwide Airport in Kingston yesterday.

    He stated THARP can have over J$2B obtainable to begin offering grant assist to tourism employees who’ve been affected, primarily those that have misplaced roofs and houses.

    Mr. Bartlett stated thus far some US$15Min assist has been supplied by trade companions for care packages, loans and grants to tourism employees.
