    Students of CASE in Portland stage protest following reports of alleged rape of female student

    Upset college students of the School of Agriculture, Science and Schooling (CASE) in Portland, staged a protest at this time, following reviews {that a} feminine scholar was allegedly raped.

    The placard bearing college students known as on college directors to implement higher safety measures, mentioning that the safety in place is ineffective.

    The Portland police are investigating the matter.

    Its reported that the scholar was attacked by unknown assailants on Sunday.

    She is receiving help and counselling.

    The protesting college students say they weren’t conscious of the incident till at this time when it was printed within the media.

    One of many protesting college students mentioned the problem of security on the faculty is an extended standing one.

    She complained that the digital camera system on the college is for the livestock, not individuals.

    She additionally pointed to safety issues at nights.

    The coed lamented that college students don’t really feel protected and wish the directors to do extra to deal with their issues.

    Meantime, in response to the scholars issues case issued a brief assertion on its social media pages.

    The college mentioned it doesn’t condone violence in any form or kind.

    It expressed sympathy to these affected including that these issues are taken critically.

    CASE mentioned the protection and well-being of scholars and workers are paramount.

    The college mentioned its dedicated to listening, appearing, and strengthening measures to make sure a protected and supportive group.
