The Authorities has assessed 1,293 companies throughout the island because the passage of Hurricane Melissa, with the purpose of rendering help.
Minister of Business, Funding and Commerce Senator Aubyn Hill gave the replace within the higher home this afternoon.
Main focus is being positioned on micro, small and medium sized enterprises (MSME), impacted by the class 5 storm.
Senator Hill stated the assessments had been accomplished between November 10 and December 1.
He stated companies had been assessed within the hardest hit parishes, particularly Trelawny, Hanover, St James, Westmoreland and St Elizabeth.
Senator Hill added that in Accompong, St. Elizabeth, the ministry assessed 25 companies.
He stated turbines are to be distributed in the neighborhood.
