    Five Dead, 15 Injured in Bus Crash on PJ Patterson Highway

    ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — 5 folks died and 15 others had been hospitalised Wednesday after a public passenger bus crashed on the PJ Patterson Freeway.

    The minibus, reportedly travelling from Mandeville to Kingston, hit a guardrail and flipped a number of instances, with a number of passengers reportedly ejected. Among the many lifeless had been three males and two females, and the injured included a two-year-old youngster.

    Authorities say a tyre reportedly blew out, although investigations are ongoing. Police, firefighters, and emergency medical groups responded, transporting victims to Spanish City Hospital, the place the hospital’s emergency plan was activated.

    Street security advocate Dr Lucien Jones urged drivers to stick to hurry limits, use seatbelts, and guarantee car security.
