    Police Identify UWI Mona Student Found Dead on Campus — Investigations Ongoing

    St. Andrew, Jamaica — Police have recognized the feminine pupil who was discovered useless on the College of the West Indies, Mona Campus, early Thursday morning as 20-year-old Victoria Brown Hanley, a Advertising pupil who resided on George Alleyne Corridor.

    Experiences are that Hanley’s physique was found by her roommate someday after 6:00 a.m., prompting an instantaneous name to the police.

    Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Michael Phipps, commanding officer for the Space 4 Police Division, confirmed that investigators are inspecting CCTV footage from the dormitory as a part of the continuing investigation.

    Preliminary findings counsel that Hanley could have taken her personal life, however ACP Phipps said {that a} autopsy examination will likely be performed to verify the reason for dying.

    The police say investigations are ongoing.
