    Woman Charged with Fatally Stabbing Mother in Westminster Home

    WESTMINSTER, Colo.: Authorities say a 37-year-old girl fatally stabbed her mom in a surprising incident that left the sufferer hidden underneath blankets of their Westminster dwelling.

    On Sept. 28, officers from the Westminster Police Division responded to the residence and found 64-year-old Kathy Johnson, who confirmed clear indicators of trauma. Police additionally encountered the sufferer’s daughter, Sarah Riste, and a toddler exterior the house. Riste’s shirt was reportedly coated in blood, and he or she allegedly advised the kid to not converse.

    Throughout questioning, Riste reportedly admitted to an argument together with her mom earlier than allegedly taking a knife from the kitchen and stabbing her. Authorities consider the kid on the scene is Riste’s personal, who reportedly mentioned, “Mother stabbed Grandma, Mother goes to jail, Grandma is lifeless, and now I don’t have anybody.”

    On Oct. 2, the seventeenth Judicial District Legal professional’s Workplace filed a first-degree homicide cost in opposition to Riste. She was arrested and booked into the Adams County
