Jamaica – The Meteorological Service of Jamaica is advising that unstable climate will linger throughout the island as a slow-moving Tropical Wave, now simply west of the nation, interacts with a Trough over the western Caribbean.

Though the wave is progressively transferring away, showers and thunderstorms are anticipated over most parishes this afternoon and night.

Forecasters say tonight might even see lingering thunderstorms alongside coastal areas.

Wanting forward, from Sunday by way of Tuesday, scattered afternoon showers and remoted thunderstorms are seemingly, particularly throughout northern, central, and western parishes.

Residents are being urged to remain tuned to official climate updates and take precautions in flood-prone areas.
