    Trinidad Police Investigating Fatal Shooting of Officer at Kent House

    Trinidad and Tobago – The police in Trinidad and Tobago are investigating the deadly taking pictures of a policeman whereas on responsibility on the Ministry of Rural Growth and Native Authorities at Kent Home.

    The deceased has been recognized as Jamal Charles, who was reportedly shot within the neck with a colleague’s firearm whereas on sentry responsibility.

    Studies from the scene point out that Charles and two fellow officers have been stationed in a sales space simply exterior the ministry’s head workplace when the incident occurred. One of many officers current advised investigators he was not dealing with Charles or the opposite colleague when he heard the gunshot. Upon turning round, he reportedly noticed Charles on the ground, bleeding from a neck wound.

    Native Authorities Minister Khadijah Ameen was not on the workplace on the time of the taking pictures, police confirmed.

    Authorities proceed to research the circumstances surrounding the incident, together with how the weapon discharged.
