    US Coast Guard seizes over $138 million in drugs during Caribbean operations – Jamaica Inquirer

    Timeline of Interdictions

    • Could 19: A maritime patrol plane noticed a suspicious vessel about 85 miles north of Aruba. Valiant intercepted the vessel and seized roughly 2,645 kilos of cocaine.
    • Could 22: One other vessel, situated roughly 170 miles north of Aruba, was intercepted by Valiant, yielding roughly 7,750 kilos of cocaine.
    • Could 25: A suspicious vessel was detected 290 miles south of the Dominican Republic. USS Gravely and embarked Coast Guard Legislation Enforcement Detachment (LEDET) 401 seized about 840 kilos of cocaine. The medication had been later transferred to Vigorous.
