    Transport Minister delivers remarks at Digital Transformation Conference – Jamaica Inquirer

    Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Eli Zakour delivered remarks on the Digital Transformation in Building Convention hosted by the British Excessive Fee on Wedensday. 

    A press launch from the ministry famous that Zakour highlighted a number of key digital initiatives throughout the transport and civil aviation sectors, with a concentrate on The Piarco Worldwide Airport, The Public Transport Service Company (PTSC) and, The Nationwide Site visitors Administration Centre.

    He said:  “Whether or not by bettering entry to dependable public transport, modernising our airports to fulfill worldwide requirements, or upgrading site visitors administration methods to scale back congestion and improve street security — digital development just isn’t a luxurious. It’s an crucial.”

    Underscoring the significance of collaboration with different ministries and stakeholders, the discharge stated Zakour reaffirmed the Ministry’s dedication to constructing a better, safer, and extra sustainable Trinidad and Tobago.
