    Well-Known JLP Worker Kidnapped on Old Hope Road

    Kingston, Jamaica – Could 31, 2025 — The police have launched an pressing investigation into the kidnapping of Lorna Robertson, popularly referred to as Nicky, who was forcibly taken by unknown assailants alongside Previous Hope Highway in St Andrew early Friday morning.

    The incident reportedly occurred at roughly 5:36 a.m., throughout from the Diabetes Affiliation of Jamaica, close to Downer Avenue.

    In response to investigators, Robertson was ambushed by males travelling in a Honda Stepwagon bearing a faux licence plate. She was then forcibly taken from the scene.

    Robertson, a widely known resident of St Andrew South Japanese, can be an election scrutineer for the governing Jamaica Labour Celebration (JLP). On the time of her abduction, she was final seen carrying a cream shirt and tangerine-coloured shorts.

    Regulation enforcement authorities are urging anybody with details about her whereabouts to contact the police emergency quantity 119 or the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Department (C-TOC) at (876) 922-2374.

    The police proceed to comply with a number of leads as efforts intensify to find Robertson and produce these accountable to justice.
