    Russian National Accused in Fatal 2022 Crash Granted Bail Extension

    A Russian man charged in reference to a lethal crash alongside the Palisadoes most important highway in Kingston has had his bail prolonged till June 24, 2025.

    Alexey Zaytsev is going through 4 costs of inflicting loss of life by harmful driving following a tragic incident on December 11, 2022. The crash claimed the lives of 4 people: 54-year-old Rose Roberts-Banton, 18-year-old Zachery Heslop, and 53-year-olds Delroy Grant and Camille Grant.

    The matter was introduced earlier than the Dwelling Circuit Courtroom on Tuesday, the place it was revealed that the prosecution continues to be awaiting documentation from the Legal professional Normal’s Workplace, inflicting additional delay within the proceedings.

    The fees stem from a deadly collision between a car allegedly pushed by Zaytsev and a taxi carrying the victims, all of whom had been residents of Seaview Gardens in St. Andrew. Investigators reported that the impression was extreme, leading to deadly accidents to all 4 passengers.
