SPANISH TOWN, St. Catherine — A high-powered weapon was seized by the St. Catherine North Fast Response Staff throughout a police operation on Dallas Lane in Spanish City on Monday, Might 19.

In keeping with reviews from the Spanish City Police, lawmen had been conducting focused operations within the space at roughly 4:50 p.m. once they found one AK-47 assault rifle together with {a magazine} containing fourteen rounds of ammunition. The firearm was reportedly discovered alongside the banks of the river.

No arrests had been made in reference to the seizure. Nevertheless, the police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing as they work to find out the origin of the weapon and whether or not it’s linked to any latest prison exercise within the space.
