    Jamaicans Urged to Unite to Protect Well-Being of Children – Jamaica Information Service

    The Ministry of Training, Abilities, Youth and Info is looking for Jamaicans throughout all sectors of society to unite in safeguarding the rights and well-being of youngsters.

    Addressing the Baby Month nationwide church service held on Saturday (Could 3) on the Northern Caribbean College Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mandeville, Group Relations Training Officer from Area 5, Aneita Bailey, mentioned residents have to be vigilant, compassionate, and proactive of their efforts to fight all types of youngster abuse and exploitation.

    Group Relations Training Officer, Ministry of Training, Abilities, Youth and Info Area 5, Aneita Bailey, brings greetings on the Baby Month nationwide church service held on Saturday (Could 3) on the Northern Caribbean College (NCU) Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mandeville, Manchester. Ms. Bailey represented portfolio Minister, Senator Dr. the Hon. Dana Morris Dixon.

    “We should act with intention to create a protected setting the place each youngster can reside free from hurt,” she mentioned.

    “As Jamaica celebrates Baby Month, the first message is evident; defending kids is a shared duty that requires lively participation from all sectors of society,” Ms. Bailey added.

    “Allow us to recommit ourselves immediately to constructing a Jamaica the place each youngster is seen, heard, protected, and empowered to succeed in their full potential,” she emphasised.

    Ms. Bailey, who represented portfolio Minister, Senator Dr. the Hon. Dana Morris Dixon, mentioned the Ministry stays resolute in its dedication to advancing nationwide insurance policies, programmes and partnerships that uphold the rights of youngsters and foster their holistic growth.

    She famous that this yr’s Baby Month theme, ‘Act Now! Stand Towards Baby Abuse and Exploitation’, is well timed, difficult Jamaicans, significantly adults and neighborhood leaders, to not solely increase consciousness but additionally actively intervene to guard susceptible kids.
