The proprietor or operator of each licensed fishing vessel is reminded of the duty to maintain a each day log of catch and energy statistics referring to the operation of that licensed fishing vessel, and to make returns of the catch and energy statistics to the Director of Setting and Pure Assets on the fisheries statistics Type 3 or on-line at www.shellcatch.com. The deadline for the receipt of catch and energy statistics for all fishing vessels for the 12 months 2024 was on 31 January 2025.
Fishing vessel homeowners or operators who haven’t submitted all of their 2024 statistics by
30 April 2025 could have dedicated an offence towards the Fisheries Rules 2010.
Vessel homeowners and operators are additional suggested that the deadline for the receipt of catch and energy statistics for the primary quarter of 2025 [i.e. 1 January to 31 March 2025] is 30 April 2025. Statistics needs to be submitted to the Licensing Workplace of the Division of Setting and Pure Assets [DENR] situated within the Botanical Gardens, Paget; to the DENR Marine Assets Part Workplace situated on Coney Island, St. George’s; or on-line at www.shellcatch.com.
