Westmoreland, Jamaica — A 40-year-old girl from Westmoreland has been charged with wounding with intent after allegedly attacking her neighbor with a machete throughout a dispute over a shared water pipe.

The accused, Kerry-Ann Clarke of Bastard Cedar Stroll in Petersfield, was formally charged on Sunday following the incident, which occurred on March 19.

Based on studies from the Whithorn Police, the altercation came about round 3:30 p.m. when Clarke and her neighbor grew to become embroiled in an argument over entry to a shared water pipe.

The confrontation reportedly escalated into violence, with Clarke allegedly utilizing a machete to inflict a number of wounds on the person, leading to extreme bleeding.

Residents shortly intervened and rushed the injured man to the hospital, the place he was admitted for remedy. Following his restoration, the person offered a press release to the police, figuring out Clarke as his attacker.

Clarke was subsequently arrested and charged with wounding with intent. Investigations into the incident are ongoing as authorities put together for her courtroom look.
