    West Sussex wheelchair fundraiser for sheep which ‘keeps falling over’

    Lotus Lamb & Sheep Sanctuary rescued Hope the sheep two weeks in the past

    An animal sanctuary is elevating funds to purchase a wheelchair for a rescued sheep that arrived on the charity in a vital situation and “retains falling over”.

    Lotus Lamb & Sheep Sanctuary rehabilitates animals rescued from excessive instances of neglect and abuse.

    The West Sussex sanctuary took in Hope, a Wiltshire horn sheep, two weeks in the past.

    Hayley Hubbard, who runs the charity, mentioned Hope was “severely malnourished, dehydrated, and unable to face” and so they have been now seeking to elevate cash for a wheelchair.

    Hayley Hubbard, founding father of Lotus Lamb & Sheep Sanctuary, says they purpose to boost cash to purchase a wheelchair for Hope

    “We thought Hope would have died if she had not been dropped at our sanctuary,” Ms Hubbard mentioned.

    She says the sanctuary has been serving to Hope to regain her energy.

    Hope has undergone quite a few checks to establish every other well being considerations, nonetheless all have come again inconclusive, Ms Hubbard mentioned.

    “The vets have taken a blood check and we’re ready for the outcomes.”

    The sanctuary says the vets haven’t been capable of decide why Hope is unable to face correctly

    Ms Hubbard mentioned: “When Hope is ready to stand up, she eats effectively, drinks water and is shiny. Nonetheless, she retains falling over.”

    She says the sanctuary goals to boost £800 to pay for a quad wheelchair to assist Hope.

    “At this stage, we’re not sure if Hope wants the wheelchair completely however even when she does, the sanctuary will take care of her and provides her a second probability in life.”
