St James, Jamaica – A 21-year-old lady has been charged with malicious communication after allegedly posting indecent and obscene images of one other lady on social media.

The accused, Anneisha Murray, in any other case referred to as “Kaydian” of Tower Hill, St James, was charged in reference to a two-week-long incident that reportedly befell between Friday, February 28, and Saturday, March 15.

In response to the Montego Bay police, the sufferer found that specific pictures of her had been shared on-line and reported the matter to authorities. Following an investigation, legislation enforcement carried out an operation at Murray’s residence on Saturday, the place she was taken into custody and subsequently charged.

Murray’s courtroom date is presently being finalized because the police proceed their investigations. Authorities are urging the general public to be aware of Jamaica’s Cybercrimes Act, which penalizes the unauthorized sharing of specific or offensive content material on-line.
