    MLSS Warns of Fraudulent Job Ads Misusing Ministry Branding

    The Ministry of Labour and Social Safety (MLSS) is urging the general public to train warning following stories of fraudulent job commercials that falsely declare the ministry is providing distant work alternatives with every day earnings between $8,000 and $18,000.

    In an official assertion, the MLSS suggested job seekers to confirm any job alternatives by visiting the ministry’s official web site and social media pages earlier than clicking on any hyperlinks or making funds. “Go to the ministry’s official web site for reliable native and abroad job placement alternatives,” the assertion learn.

    The ministry emphasised that the fraudulent adverts are misusing its emblem and branding to deceive unemployed people, and it’s calling on residents to report any suspected scams. These with data are inspired to contact the police or attain out on to the MLSS by way of phone at (876) 922-8000-13 or e mail at clientcare@mlss.gov.jm.
