    Jamaica unveils monument honouring fallen COVID-19 healthcare workers – Jamaica Inquirer

    Valued at $4 million and with every healthcare employee’s identify etched in gold plates and mounted on porcelain tiles, the Healthcare Employees COVID-19 Monument was unveiled in Monday, March 10 on the grounds of the Nationwide Chest Hospital in Kingston.

    Holness added: “When COVID-19 reached our shores … it was our medical doctors, nurses, affected person care assistants, hospital attendants, technicians help workers and different healthcare professionals who rose to the event.
