    Police Launch Investigation After Trainee Constable Accidentally Shoots Himself at Glengoffe Station

    St Catherine, Jamaica — The Police Excessive Command has initiated an investigation into an incident on the Glengoffe Police Station in St Catherine, the place a trainee constable by chance shot himself on Wednesday night.

    The incident occurred round 8:15 p.m. when the trainee, whereas adjusting his belt, positioned his firearm on high of a motorcar. In accordance with stories, as he went to retrieve the weapon, it fell to the bottom and discharged, hanging him.

    The injured officer was shortly assisted and brought to the Spanish City Hospital, the place he stays hospitalized for remedy. His situation has not been disclosed, although he’s stated to be receiving medical care.
