    St. Catherine Man Charged in Overseas Employment Scam

    Donald Cameron, a 54-year-old gross sales clerk from Lakes Pen, St. Catherine, has been charged with acquiring cash by false pretense in reference to an abroad employment rip-off. The incident occurred on Princess Road in Kingston in 2023.

    In accordance with police experiences, Cameron launched a person to an company purportedly providing employment alternatives in the US. Cameron allegedly instructed the person to pay $280,000 in money, which the complainant did with out receiving a receipt.

    After quite a few unsuccessful makes an attempt to safe the promised paperwork from Cameron, the person requested a refund. Cameron agreed to return the cash however failed to take action. A report was subsequently filed with the police, prompting an investigation.

    Detectives made a breakthrough within the case on Monday, February tenth, apprehending Cameron and charging him with the offense. His courtroom date is presently being finalized.
