    Ex-Soldier Linked to 440 Drive Gang Fatally Shot in Police Confrontation

    A person alleged to be a high-ranking member of the infamous 440 Drive Gang was fatally shot throughout a confrontation with police in Bridgeport, Portmore, on Tuesday evening.

    The deceased, 24-year-old Alex Madden of a Kingston 11 tackle, was beforehand discharged from the Jamaica Defence Power (JDF) in 2024 because of alleged ties to the gang.

    Police experiences point out that round 9:00 p.m., regulation enforcement officers on an operation in Bridgeport tried to apprehend Madden.
