    Steve McGregor confirmed as PNP candidate for Central Kingston – Jamaica Inquirer

    Retired Senior Superintendent of Police, Steve McGregor, will on Wednesday be offered because the candidate to characterize the Folks’s Nationwide Social gathering (PNP) in Central Kingston within the subsequent Basic Election that’s due by September this 12 months.

    McGregor, considered one among Jamaica’s high crimefighters when he served within the Jamaica Constabulary Power, replaces Lawrence Rowe who was controversially withdrawn because the PNP’s caretaker/candidate on the weekend.

    Opposition chief and PNP President Mark Golding will formally current McGregor on the PNP’s constituency workplace at North Avenue, Kingston at 6:00 PM.
