    69-Year-Old Farmer Killed in Hit-and-Run in Junction, St Elizabeth

    St Elizabeth, Jamaica – A group is in mourning following the tragic demise of 69-year-old farmer Overton Simpson, who succumbed to accidents sustained in a hit-and-run incident on Monday night.

    In accordance with stories, Simpson, a resident of Ridge district, was strolling alongside Melsham Highway in Junction round 5:45 p.m. when he was struck by a motorcyclist. The rider didn’t cease following the collision.

    Simpson was rushed to the Black River Hospital, the place he later died whereas present process therapy.

    The Junction Visitors Division has since launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities are urging anybody with info that might help in figuring out the motorcyclist to come back ahead.

    Residents of the normally quiet group have expressed shock and unhappiness at Simpson’s demise, describing him as a hardworking man identified for his dedication to farming and his type spirit.

    Investigations into the deadly crash are ongoing.
