    65-year-old Man Granted Bail in Teen Rape Case

    A 65-year-old St. Catherine man charged with raping an adolescent was granted bail within the sum of $300,000 when he appeared within the St. Catherine Parish Court docket on Wednesday.

    Lennox Jones of Man’s Hill, St. Catherine, was granted bail by Senior Parish Court docket Decide Yvette Wentworth-Miller.

    Legal professional Denise Hinson represented Jones in courtroom.

    As a situation of his bail, Jones is required to report back to the Gayle Police Station in St. Mary every Saturday and is scheduled to reappear in courtroom on March 13, 2025.

    The alleged incident occurred in Might 2024 when the 19-year-old complainant was on her technique to faculty in St. Catherine.

    The matter was reported to the authorities in January 2025, resulting in an investigation that resulted in Jones’ arrest and subsequent cost.
