    58 Ghanaian Armed Forces personnel arrive in Jamaica to aid hurricane Melissa recovery

    Fifty-eight personnel from the Engineering Corps of the Ghanaian Armed Forces arrived in Jamaica final evening to help in reconstruction efforts following Hurricane Melissa.

    Minister of Overseas Affairs and Overseas Commerce, Senator Kamina Johnson-Smith made the announcement within the Senate as we speak.

    She famous that Ghana is among the many newest international locations to supply support to Jamaica after the hurricane and added that further help is anticipated from different nations.

    She stated the officers are to work alongside the Jamaica Defence Drive for six weeks and shall be deployed inside two days.
