    4,000 youths to be targeted under HOPE Summer Work Programme this year – Jamaica Inquirer

    The Authorities is looking for to focus on 4,000 younger individuals to enrol in its HOPE Youth Summer time Work Programme below the HEART/NSTA Belief this yr, in accordance with Minister of Schooling, Abilities, Youth and Info, Dr Dana Morris Dixon.

    She stated there are various adults who know younger individuals who require such alternatives through the summer season vacation interval, and urged them to share the knowledge.

    “I’m very joyful to inform you that this yr we’re gonna have the HOPE (Youth) Summer time Work Programme once more by HEART/NSTA Belief, and so, we’re gonna be offering expertise for younger folks between (the ages) 17 and 29 years outdated,” Morris Dixon stated.

    She stated the programme might be divided into separate three-week-long classes, with members receiving a stipend based mostly on their degree of training.

    Some highschool college students will obtain $40,000 for 3 weeks of labor, whereas sixth kind college students will obtain $46,000.
