    39-Year-Old Boyfriend Charged with Murder of Pregnant Teen Jadene Gayle

    Police have charged 39-year-old bus driver Labbede “Chubby” Carr with the homicide of 16-year-old Jadene Gayle, the pregnant teen whose physique was found close to Devon most important street in St Mary earlier this month.

    Carr, of a Mountain View tackle in St Andrew, was charged on Saturday after being questioned by investigators within the presence of his lawyer. He had been taken into custody because the prime suspect shortly after Gayle’s dying.

    Gayle’s physique, wrapped in a blue tarpaulin, was discovered by residents who contacted the police. In keeping with investigators, the teenager confirmed indicators of strangulation and had a number of abrasions on her physique.

    It’s alleged that Carr and Gayle had been in a relationship since she was 13 and that they’d been dwelling collectively for a number of years. Gayle was pregnant on the time of her dying.

    The case has sparked widespread outrage, with neighborhood members and advocacy teams demanding justice for Gayle and stronger measures to guard minors from exploitation.

    Police haven’t but confirmed a court docket date for Carr, however the investigation stays ongoing. Gayle’s dying has reignited requires stricter enforcement of kid safety legal guidelines and heightened consciousness across the risks of underage relationships.
