    2 men arrested in deadly Westminster carjacking

    Two males have been arrested Wednesday on suspicion of homicide in a lethal carjacking in south Westminster, police officers mentioned.

    Daniel Romero, 19, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree homicide and Michael Fernandez Jr., 24, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree homicide in reference to a deadly capturing on Oct. 27, in keeping with the Westminster Police Department. 

    Officers responded to 911 calls about gunshots at a car parking zone within the 8400 block of Decatur Avenue round 8 p.m. and located a girl who had been shot inside a automobile.

    The lady was taken to the hospital and later died. She was recognized by the Adams County Coroner’s Workplace as Maria Ines De Luna Ojeda, 34. The trigger and method of her dying are beneath investigation.

    Westminster police on Thursday mentioned the capturing was a carjacking that turned lethal and recognized Romero because the suspected shooter and Fernandez as the motive force.

    Romero and Fernandez are being held with out bail on the Adams County Jail and are set to look in courtroom for a submitting of fees listening to on Monday.
