    17-Year-Old Accidentally Kills 13-Year-Old Cousin While Handling Illegal Firearm in Westmoreland

    A 13-year-old boy has died after being by accident shot within the head by his 17-year-old cousin in Westmoreland. The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, January 28, in George’s Plain, Westmoreland.

    The deceased, recognized as Kaeshawn Watson, also referred to as ‘Prince ‘ was shot when his cousin reportedly mishandled an unlawful firearm given to him for safekeeping.

    In accordance with police reviews, his cousin was enjoying with the 9mm pistol round 4:00 p.m. when he eliminated the loaded journal however was unaware {that a} bullet remained within the chamber. When he pulled the set off, the gun discharged, hitting Prince within the head.

    Prince was rushed to the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital in vital situation. Regardless of efforts to avoid wasting him, he succumbed to his accidents early Wednesday morning whereas receiving therapy.

    Following the capturing, his cousin allegedly hid the firearm and later known as a buddy to retrieve it. Studies point out that the buddy arrived on a bike and took the gun. Nevertheless, as he was leaving, the loaded journal fell onto the roadside.

    Authorities, performing on intelligence, later recovered the journal and arrested the person who allegedly gave the cousin with the firearm. The cousin and his buddy have since fled the realm, and police are actively trying to find them.

    The police are urging anybody with info on the whereabouts of the suspects to come back ahead as investigations proceed.
